Mexican GoM Bid – Oil seep sources on the seafloor

We finished our mapping of seeps on the seafloor of Perdido and Cuenca Salina, in the Mexican GoM. The bid for deep waters, in December, will offer blocks in these region.

More than 200 SAR scenes were used to detect oil seeps on sea surface.

Then, more than 7,500 Inverse Modeling simulations were to find the location of oil seeps sources on the seafloor, bring a much more precise and useful piece of information for new ventures and exploration teams.
