First results of the 3D immersion in the ocean

During a visit to CENPES/ Petrobras, OilFinder technical team could observe the first results of the project that will enable the visualization of Inverse Modeling deliverables in a three-dimensional immersive environment.

In that occasion, a simulation of the oceanic circulation at Espírito Santo, Campos and Santos basins was exhibited.

Entering the 3D visualization Cave, the user can “dive” into the data, having a new understanding of the simulated environment.

The initiative is the result of a partnership between Petrobras, LAMCE/ COPPE and OilFinder.
